"SLEEP" delves into the realm of unconventional dreams—experiences that, while not necessarily nightmarish, are certainly distinct. These dreams, upon waking, linger in one's memory with vivid details, yet the events remain inexplicable, people unrecognizable, conversations indecipherable, and actions perplexing. In such dreams, vision often blurs, and other senses become hyper-sensitive, heightening the significance of every element.

"SLEEP" takes the form of a musical triptych, comprising "sleep (1)," "sleep (2)," and "sleep (3)," with a central focus on "sleep (2)."

In the creation of "SLEEP," my emphasis was on exploring noise, incorporating harsh and overprocessed sounds. While many tracks exude a tranquil and mellower ambiance, featuring distant sonic textures and soundscapes, the album also embraces extremes, with very loud, soft, and silent passages. Repetitive patterns are interwoven deliberately, and meticulous planning shapes the sonic space. Some tracks, however, were entirely improvised using the prepared Ableton Live Push 2 MIDI controller.
